ProctorLink doesn’t publish a standard price list because online proctoring costs vary significantly based on session volume, concurrency, exam duration, and feature configuration; a flat pricing table would not give most institutions an accurate number to plan around.
Two institutions with the same number of users can have very different session volumes, concurrency levels, and feature requirements, and therefore very different credit needs. A public price list would either be misleading or so generic it wouldn’t help you plan. A personalised estimate gives you a real number you can actually work with.
One credit equals one user completing one exam attempt on ProctorLink. Credits are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
If 300 candidates each sit a single exam, that uses 300 credits. If the same 300 candidates sit two exams each, that’s 600 credits.
A user is a candidate registered in your exam programme. A session is one instance of that user completing a proctored exam. Credits are consumed per session, not per user, so if 500 candidates each sit 3 exams, that’s 1,500 sessions and 1,500 credits.
Concurrency refers to the maximum number of proctored exam sessions running simultaneously. For online proctoring, this is typically determined by the size of your largest single sitting. If 400 candidates start an exam at the same time, your concurrency is 400.
